The precision used whenever a floating point value is converted to a string may be established initially for an ESL application with the precision Environment Declaration. The change precision Action Statement may be used to change the precision for converting floating point values during the course of an application, thus allowing the precision of a floating point value to be adapted to the circumstance in the application.
