protected/unprotected

Indicates whether the field is protected. A protected field cannot be modified (written to) by the user.

modified/unmodified

Indicates whether the field was modified (written) since the screen was initially transmitted.

display/nondisplay

Indicates whether the field is displayed on a 3270/5250 terminal.

intensified/normal

Indicates the brightness of the characters in the field.
