The Save Defs button is only for use by the ESL Syndetic Engineering department. It is used to create a set of header files, which are included into the ESL product by the 'C' compiler. As the text of the message are held externally, it is only necessary to create new definition header files when a message has been added or deleted. ESL Clients must not add or delete messages.
