The supplied ESL fonts (Esl Mono & Esl Caps etc.), do not support extended ASCII or doublebyte characters. It supports only the standard ASCII set, a to 127. In Windows, extended ASCII characters can be displayed using system fonts. System fonts are defined using the font is syntax; for example:
font MyFont is facename Courier size 9 12
