The facilities provided by ESLCICS are one of a number of methods of communicating with CICS programs, the most common being screen scraping using the EHLLAPI interface provided by the ECS routines. The ESLCICS is targeted at ESL clients who already use the OS/2 version of the ESLCICS who need to migrate to Windows.
