Q2 How do I start a command file from ESL?

Scroll Prev Top Next More

Since Windows provides no command line interpreter, running command files and executing command line functions is not as straight forward as it is in EASEL/32 or EASEL/DOS. To get around this, there is a local application, DOSCMD.EXE, that will allow you to execute virtually any DOS command. You will find a copy of an ESL demonstration program in the "Samples" directory of the Development Tools installation, that provides an example of how to use DOSCMD.EXE.
