When you create text for pushbuttons, radio buttons, and check boxes, you can specify a mnemonic for the pushbuttons. The mnemonic provides a way to select the objects from the keyboard without having to first move to the object to make it active. You define the mnemonic by putting a tilde (~) before the letter in the text string you want to be the mnemonic. When the text is displayed, this letter is underlined to indicate to the user that it is the mnemonic.
