Sets whether or not you want the Layout Editor to save a backup copy of each opened file.

Check Keep Backup Files if you want the Layout Editor to save a copy of the original contents of each opened file.  The Layout Editor assigns the extension .bak to each backup file.

Uncheck Keep Backup Files if you do not want the Layout Editor to save backup copies.
