The Editor setup dialog allows different text editing tools to be used with QuikStep.
Directory
This contains the current directory to be used when invoking the text editing tool. By default this is set to the macro %PD, which is the Project Directory.
Exe path
This is the filename of the editing tool executable. Use the "Browse..." button to locate the required executable if required.
Parameters
Pass any additional parameters to your editor in the invocation command.
After compiler errors
This series of radio buttons provides the following behaviours when a compilation results in one or more errors:
Show dialog message |
Displays a message box with a count of the errors.

Open view of error log |
Opens a display window within QuikStep containing the errorlog file.

Open editor with error log |
Invokes the specified text editing tool passing the errorlog file as a parameter.
