The send statement is used to send information to an application or to the errorlog.

To specify an application name identifier, use the same name of the application you defined in the application environment declaration.  Remember also that an application must be started with the start statement before you can send information to it.

You can send any number of values to an application program or to the errorlog in a single send statement.
