There are new default values for the following CONFIG.ESL settings:

PRGSIZE        512KB

PRGMAX         32MB

GLBSIZE        128KB

GLBMAX         32MB

MEMINCR         64KB

The default values may be used by not specifying anything in your CONFIG.ESL or you may override them as you have done in the past.

ESL 5.0 for Windows 95/NT now supports the use of PRGMAX and GLBMAX.

Earlier versions of ESL for Windows did not support the use of these configuration file variables.

Setup now installs 8514/XGA support by default.

If you want EGA support copy ESLFONTS.EGA to ESLFONTS.FON.

If you want VGA support copy ESLFONTS.VGA to ESLFONTS.FON.

If you want to restore 8514/XGA support copy ESLFONTS.14A to ESLFONTS.FON.

The following Database Locals have been added,

(see DATABASE SUPPORT section below for more information) :

•eslsqlo7.exe ---> Interface to Oracle 7.3

•eslsqlsy.exe ---> Interface to Sybase 11

•eslsqlms.exe ---> Interface to Microsoft SQL Server 6.5
