The Development Tool "SQL Wizard", when working with an ODBC Database, now has the option to generate an ESL application that uses the Batch Array processing statements.

These statements significantly improve efficiency, as each SQL statement is only compiled once. They also allows encoded data to be passed. Using data encoding, text containing control characters, for example; carriage returns and line feeds, can be stored and retrieved from a database.

Due to a case sensitivity issue, different data types were not recognized by SQL Wizard. This issue has been corrected, allowing the update of textual fields within SQL Wizard.
