ESL Documentation

To distribute the production application built with DB/Assist to your end users, you need the following.

Bind files, which are created (with a .BND extension) by DB/Assist as part of the compile process. At runtime, you or your network administrator must manually bind each bind file to the required database in order to create an access package in the database catalog.

The properly installed database software, as described in Getting Started with DB/Assist.

The ESL Client Services for Windows target platform, which includes the EDB2 library.

The ESL executable file for the ESL for Windows target platform. (This is  a .WEB file for the ESL for Windows platform.)
