What You Can't Do in the Layout Editor

The Layout Editor does not support the following:

adding or editing insert statements for objects; for instance, you cannot set up the tick marks for a slider, define columns or rows for a table, or define the contents of a list box

adding or editing drawing statements for objects; for instance, you cannot add or edit the drawing statements for a graphical region

setting up validation for an entry field

adding or altering any ESL statement outside of an object definition; for instance, you can't define a font, define an action bar, or modify an include statement

editing the tabbing order for the controls in a dialog box or dialog region

generating Setup and Query action routines for a dialog box or dialog region
