Attributes Outside the Scope of the Layout Editor

The Layout Editor does not support the editing of drawing statements for the following objects: graphical regions, textual regions, and keys.

The Layout Editor does not support the editing of insert statements for the following objects: list boxes, dropdown lists, combination boxes, dropdown combination boxes, sliders, spin buttons, and tables.

The Layout Editor does not support the editing of validation formats and bounds for entry fields.

The Layout Editor does not support the at default position syntax for dialog regions, graphical regions, image regions, sense regions, textual regions, or keys.

The Layout Editor does not support the window size COLUMNS columns LINES lines syntax for setting the size of a textual region.

These parts of an object's definition must be added to the definition outside the Layout Editor.  The Layout Editor maintains any drawing statement, insert statement or validation format and bound included in an object's definition.  Use the ESL Source Window to view the complete definition for an object.
