With this release of ESL, we have introduced a simple text editor all ESL Edit. The simple editor has been written in ESL and is designed to  work with the text file types used within the Development and Runtime ESL environment. We are planning to extent the functionally of ESL Edit with later releases of ESL, this would include facilities to Compile and Run applications when editing an ESL Source Code file (i.e. .EAL).

ESL Developers are encouraged to contact the Help Desk, to suggest possible enhancements and to obtained the latest pre-release versions of ESL Edit to trial.
