The following gives an overview of the steps for building a SQL statement in DB/Assist.

1.        Create a new statement or: Open an existing statement.

2.        Build the statement syntax using one of the following  methods:

•        Import the statement from the clipboard or from a file.

•        Type the statement in the SQL Editor window.

•        Complete the appropriate statement construction dialog boxes.

3.        If desired, run the statement to see the results.
